Shipping Policy

We endeavor to process all orders within 1 to 7 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.

Most orders should be delivered within 1- 12 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).

Delays due to a high volume of orders, staff availability or shipping service problems are outside of our control and may add to the processing time and delivery time.

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

  • General Items

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

  • Heavy and Bulky Items

Freight charges on heavy and bulky items will be quoted by us before we process your order. We will email you with this cost before we process your order.

In-store Pickup

After placing your order, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 2 to 4 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). We will send you an email when your order is ready to collect along with any instructions.

Our in-store pickup hours are 10am to 4pm on Tuesday’s, Thursday’s, and Saturday’s. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.

Restricted Items

  • New Firearms

New firearms can only be picked up in-store or shipped to a Firearms Dealer.

If the firearm is to be shipped to your nominated Firearms Dealer, please contact us with your dealers’ details.

Postage on new firearms shipped to a firearms dealer will be quoted by us before we process your order. We will email you with this cost before we process your order.

If the firearm is picked up in-store, an appropriate valid license and Permit to Acquire is required.

  • Second-hand Firearms

Second-hand Firearms can only be picked up in-store or shipped to a Firearms Dealer.

If the firearm is to be shipped to your nominated Firearms Dealer, please contact us with your dealers’ details.

If picked up in-store, an appropriate valid license and Permit to Acquire is required.

Second-hand firearms will be subject to a Firearms Transfer Fee, this fee will be quoted by us before we process your order.

Postage on second-hand Firearms shipped to a firearms dealer will be quoted by us before we process your order. We will email you with this cost before we process your order.

  • Firearm Parts – Tasmania

Firearm parts (including second-hand firearms parts) can only be shipped to a Firearms Dealer.

A firearm part means a barrel, breech, trigger mechanism, operating mechanism, or magazine.

Please contact us with your nominated firearms dealers’ details if ordering or purchasing any firearm parts.

  • Ammunition

We do not ship ammunition.

Ammunition (including Air Pellets), and any ammunition components, can only be picked up in-store on presentation of an appropriate valid license.

  • Knives

We do not ship knives.

Knives can only be picked up in-store.

You must be 18 years of age or over to order any knives from this site.

A valid proof of age document must be presented before any knives are supplied.

  •  Flammable Goods (Aerosols and Solvents)

We do not ship Aerosols and Solvents.

Aerosols and Solvents can only be picked up in-store.

Liquids (other than flammable goods)

Liquids that are classed as non-dangerous goods can be shipped but require extra packaging.

International Shipping

We do not currently offer international shipping.

Shipping to P.O. Boxes

Most of our orders are shipped by Australia Post, however some carriers we use do not ship to P.O. Boxes.

Part Shipped Orders

We endeavor to ship your order complete in one shipment.

If, however if we are unable to ship your order complete and you request your order to be part shipped, additional shipping charges will apply for any subsequent shipments of your order.

We will email you with the cost of these additional shipping charges before we process any subsequent shipments.

Order Status

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check your orders status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

Loss or Damage During Shipping

If you haven’t received your order within 15 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at sales@targetriflesa.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at sales@targetriflesa.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition.

We address any loss or damage on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
